Research shows that applying neuroscience principles and mindfulness practices in therapy enhances psychological change and growth. Mindfulness trains our ‘mind’ to harness our brain’s capacity for neurological re-structuring. Learning to harness these restructuring capacities is the new wave of therapy.

The Neuroscience of Love and its Transformational Properties

In this session, Pauline Skeates will explore how experiences of love – relational, human, and Divine – alter neural frequency patterns, reduce threat signalling, and reorganise internal architecture. We’ll look at the emerging science showing how love increases coherence across neural networks and creates the ideal conditions for healing and change.
We will also reflect on the mystery of love entering the world in its most vulnerable form, echoing the Scriptural truth that “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18).
This is an invitation to deepen your understanding of love as both biological resonance and spiritual frequency, and how it becomes an active agent of transformation for you and your clients.

In this unique workshop, you’ll explore the power of Loving-Kindness as you connect with your inner child, using creativity as a pathway to healing and self-compassion. The workshop will be facilitated by Insight International’s therapist, Sandy Fabrin.
