A Psychological Wellness Collective
What Do We Do
Insight Focused Therapy – our new mindfulness-based model of counselling developed by Pauline Skeates.
Take mastery of your life by learning the skills necessary to heal trauma, improve attachments, maximise neuroplasticity of your brain and rewire your brain for success, health and happiness.
Anyone can benefit from this IFT training – mental health professionals, therapists, coaches, people helpers, advisers and those wishing to invest in personal development. Check our testimonials on the IFT page…
Insight Counselling is the therapeutic wing of Insight International. We offer a wide range of counselling services designed to help you get the most out of your life. Our therapists are highly qualified and experienced psychological health practitioners and trainers.
Insight Counselling offers face-to-face therapy, Skype sessions, trauma therapy (ACC Reg), couples counselling, life-coaching, training and supervision for therapists. Our therapeutic style reflects the latest in neuroscience research.
Mindfulness practice impacts and transforms the quality of our lives – we can experience permanent positive change to our sense of self and sense of well-being.
Mindfulness is about intentional attention to the present-moment, without judgment, with an attitude of kindness. With mindfulness, we can train our brain to use its natural capacities for self-correction to eliminate the unconscious negative patterns of thinking that guides our behaviour.
Insight International offers mindfulness training courses and a mindfulness-based therapy training course – IFT to help you retrain your brain for success, health and happiness.
You will learn how, by leading a mindful life, to increase resilience, physical health, stability of attention, emotional regulation and enjoy a calmer inner world with a greater sense of well-being.
The issue is not about what’s wrong with you, but what happened to you that got you to this place!
Breath out, drop your shoulders, shake out your arms and hands, letting-go of trying so hard to change it or fix it or work it out. Placing the hand of kindness on your chest and noticing what its like to experience the comfort of kindness.Pauline Skeates
